Apperance Changes

br> When Pontiac and Stonewell Bellcom got together to design the 4th generation Firebird, they made it so perfect, there is little room to improve apperance. I call them changes, because some people think even a wing is a "mod". Here are some pictures you fans have been waiting for.

Here is Skull-1's latest apperance change, a big block hood. It was patterned after the hood of a C2 Corvette big block hood. It is somewhat functional, due to letting out hot air from underneath the hood through the cowl. You can also see the Camaro SS wheels. Look good? Hell yes they do. Functional? You bet your sweet ass they are. Instead of taking corners at 30 like a madman, I can now take them at 40+ like a madman. Baby cars like grocery getting imports that hoped they could be Skull-1 when they grow up, only had their dreams shattered once again when they saw this rim & tire combo. You may have seen these lowered little cars bouncing around like trampolines, when they are in fact, supposed to stick to the road.

In this pic, you can once again see Tantrum, on hiatus since early 2002. It's anyone's guess when he will be road worthy once again. When he is back, serious ass whoopin will occur with a new 383 in the works.

General Motors, at one time, cared about the enthusiast. This is not the case as of August 27th, 2002, when the last F-bodies rolled off the assembly line. GM said, "Buy a Vette, or go fuck yourselves". Before then, they had the brilliant idea of taking their flagship Corvette's engine, the L98, the LT1, and LS1, and put them in the bang for the buck Firebird & Camaro. While not exact replicas of the Vette engine (4 bolt mains, alternator on the driver's side, etc etc), the LT1 is pretty much the same thing. So, to clear up all the injectors and crap near the intake manifold, Corvette Fuel Rail covers were added. They are not functional whatsoever, or are they? You'll soon see they serve a dual purpose. In order to fit, some plastic was cut away. Here they are as seen in the engine bay:

Usually I don't believe in any color schemes (except for pure black) like trendy mindless shitheads do, this includes clothing and those gay ass pure white Lady Footlocker shoes everyone is so fond of these days. So, I stuck with the factory silver & black. The fuel rail covers were painted to match that. The strut tower brace was painted aluminum.

Here is another shot of the big block hood. Of course, this was taken near our east compound where we can have target practice, detonate explosives, what have you. There I am rejecting trends again. Despite wearing the same favorite shirt since 1998, I can't let myself wear those ugly, cheap Payless Shoes everyone loves. Real heads will instantly recognize the Jordan retro IIIs.
